GEOL 4550 – Coastal Geomorphology – 3 Units
The study of the geomorphology of land forms and the processes that shape them.  This course surveys the coasts of the world and the challenges they present to our society.  Topics range from tectonic classification of coasts to sea level history, coastal processes, coastal land forms, and environmental coastal issues. 

Fall 2010

GEOL 2051 – Geomorphology – 3 Units
Focuses on the processes operating at the surface of the earth that result in the degradation of existing rock masses and the movement of material across the surface of the earth to other locations, and the landforms resulting from these processes.
